Bifulk was arrested March 6 in Madison for allegedly passing counterfeit bills at two Madison area businesses. He could face federal as well as state charges, and a maximum of $20,000 in fines or 12 years in prison.
Just across the state line in Winnebago County in Illinois, Bifulk faces two counts of aggravated battery toward an officer and resisting an officer. He was charged on Sept. 20. A plea hearing in this matter is set for 1:30 p.m. April 25.
